About Me!!!
Hi! My name is Morgan Smith & I am the school counselor for grades 3rd - 5th. I am excited to be at Cayce Elementary this year!
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Family Consumer Science with a concentration in child development and I received my Master of Education in School Counseling, both from South Carolina State University. Prior to being here I was an academic coach for three years.
My classroom lessons align with our state Comprehensive School Counseling Standards, as well as the American School Counselor Association's national standards. Besides classroom lessons, I offer small group counseling on a variety of topics (everything from children of divorce to making positive choices) and individual counseling.
