If you're heading to this weekend's USC-Kent State football game at Williams-Brice Stadium, you'll not only be seeing the Gamecocks but one of our Lex2 teachers as well!

Taryn Jett, a fifth grade Gifted & Talented-LAUNCH teacher at Cayce Elementary, has been selected as a 2026 Teacher of the Game honoree, presented by Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union in partnership with USC Gamecock Athletics to recognize outstanding SC educators.

Winners receive in-game recognition as well as $1,000 from Palmetto Citizens and four game tickets!

Taryn brings heart, curiosity and encouragement to her classroom every day, helping her students grow in confidence while reminding them that their ideas and voices matter. Congratulations to Taryn!
