About Me

Hi! My name is Catherine Prizer & I am the school counselor for grades 3K - 2nd. I am excited to be at Cayce Elementary this year!

 

I obtained my B.A. in Psychology from UNC - Greensboro and my M.Ed. in School Counseling from Winthrop University. Prior to being here, I was in Richland 2 for 11 years.

 

My classroom lessons align with our state Comprehensive School Counseling Standards, as well as the American School Counselor Association's national standards. Besides classroom lessons, I offer small group counseling on a variety of topics (everything from children of divorce to making positive choices) and individual counseling.
