In the interest of keeping families, employees and the public informed, Lexington Two posts the confirmed active positive COVID-19 cases and quarantines among students and staff. With the significant decline in cases as of winter 2022, Lexington Two will move to a weekly reporting of cases each Friday for staff and students, the first of which will be on March 11. This list is compiled from the district's nurses, working in concert with DHEC. It is worth noting that the district's numbers often differ from DHEC's, primarily due to the frequency of case updates and timing of notifications.
Positive cases in schools among staff and students most often originate away from the school campus. Staff and students come and go from our schools and are active in the community, meaning they often come into contact with the virus outside of a school setting.
